Lunar craters

This is a trial for lunar high resolution imaging.  The technique is quite complicated and involves obtaining a video of the lunar surface with 5000 images.  This data file is always corrupted by the atmosphere, so only the best 10-15% are selected for processing.  This data is stacked and processed in several different astro programs to give the final image presented here.  I am happy with the initial trial of data collection and processing.  The next step for me is to obtain multiple sets of video and to combine them as a panorama.  This data collection will take some time as the moon needs to be high in the sky away from the surrounding trees.  Clear skies needed as well.
